Abstract

Esta revisión aborda el manejo de la fragilidad en pacientes de cirugía cardíaca, especialmente en contextos con recursos limitados. Destaca la importancia de identificar y abordar factores de riesgo modificables para mejorar los resultados. Ofrece recomendaciones prácticas, incluyendo intervenciones prehabilitativas y programas de rehabilitación postoperatoria.

 

This review addresses the management of frailty in cardiac surgery patients, particularly in resource-limited settings. It emphasizes the importance of identifying and addressing modifiable risk factors to enhance outcomes. It provides practical recommendations, including prehabilitative interventions and postoperative rehabilitation programs.
