Abstract

Se realiza el comentario sobre un estudio retrospectivo multicéntrico que expone las diferencias entre las técnicas de reconstrucción mamaria inmediata tras mastectomía conservadora, comparando la técnica “dual-plane retropectoral” con la colocación prepectoral del implante, utilizando matrices dérmicas acelulares. Se realiza un análisis sobre la metodología empleada, los resultados del estudio y sus posibles sesgos.

A commentary is provided on a multicenter retrospective study that highlights the differences between techniques for immediate breast reconstruction following nipple-sparing mastectomy, comparing the dual-plane retropectoral technique with prepectoral implant placement using acellular dermal matrices. An analysis is conducted on the methodology employed, the study's results, and its potential biases.
