Abstract

La insuficiencia cardíaca (IC) se asocia con mala calidad de vida y hospitalizaciones frecuentes. Estudios previos han reportado una prevalencia de depresión del 21,5% entre pacientes con IC¹, mayor relación con un peor pronóstico y aumento de la mortalidad^1-3. Este metaanálisis evalúa los efectos de los antidepresivos sobre el riesgo de muerte en pacientes con IC.
