Abstract

El hallazgo de bradiarritmias en pacientes ancianos portadores de un registrador de eventos,  aumenta significativamente el implante de marcapasos, sin por ello modificar la tasa de síncope ni de muerte súbita comparado con la práctica clínica habitual.

 

Incidental diagnosis of bradyarrythmias in older persons with implantable loop recorder, significantly increases pacemaker  implantations with no change in the risk of syncope or sudden death compared with usual care.
